iron |
Doors are built
with 14 gauge
steel framing. The wrought iron designs are built with
solid 3/4" diameter iron
bars - bent, shaped, hammered and twisted until the desired
effect is achieved. In our wood and iron doors, the wrought iron
used is solid 1/2" iron bar. The doors are 1 3/4" thick. Doors
are prehung with standard size 2" x 4" jambs. Any custom sizes
can be made.

glass
frame |
A hinged glass
frame
comes ready to accomodate
1/2" tempered glass, which
opens inwards to allow for ventilation or for cleaning of the
glass. The frame can be customized to hold any size of glass and
must be specified at the time of order. In the wood and iron
doors, the wrought iron panels are hinged to open outwards in
order to clean the glass. |

hardware |
We use heavy duty
ball bearing hinges. Sliding extension flush bolts are installed
in double doors and hold the doors top and bottom. Pull handles
(shown below) and lock are included at no extra charge.
